21 Dec Seminar in Israel for Jewish community professionals and activists
In March 2017, 13 Jewish community professionals and activists are participating in a seminar in Israel. The program is the extension of the Mozaik Hub’s efforts to build the professional capacity of NGOs and to create a more networked ecosystem for organizations and new initiatives in the Jewish community. The seminar is organized and implement in cooperation with the Buncher Community Leadership Program in Israel.
The program in Israel is exclusively designed and crafted for the senior leaders and professionals of the Mozaik Hub member organizations, and will address two major issues: organizational effectiveness of an NGO and strategies for achieving synergetic social impact. The Israeli civil society has accumulated considerable knowledge and experience in both fields. We will use the program as a laboratory in quest for strategies and solutions that have the potential of bringing Jewish community NGOs in Hungary towards higher level of sustainability and impact.
The group will visit leading NGOs with vast social impact and will have discussions with advocates and leaders of social change. The participants will have an opportunity to learn practical skills from practitioners and experts in nonprofit management and will have time to reflect on and plan some practical steps for their work back in Budapest. The program will provide a rich cultural experience as well, and some free time to socialize and explore things on your own.
